How to use this site
If you have come to this page, then you are either simply curious as to how it looks or you do actually want to find out how to use this site! A warm welcome to anyone who is visiting for the first time and who maybe isn't too sure how to find their way around or perhaps wants to leave a message for me. No problem, it's quite straightforward.
If you would like to leave a message or make a comment about one of the posts, just click on the "Comments" link at the bottom of the news item. A form will appear on the page and you have to fill in the boxes as required.
Your name should be entered in the top box, your e-mail address in the next and, if you've got one, your web site address in the third. Below that, in the large box, you can write your message or comment. Once that's completed, click on "Post Your Comment" and you're done. I'll be delighted to hear from you!
Although it's unlikely, it is possible that someone will chance upon the site and leave an inappropriate message. For this reason the site has a Comment Moderation function, which means that no comment can be published on the site until I've checked it first. This means that your comment won't be published straight away, so don't be disappointed if it doesn't appear immediately, it may take a little while for me to get to it - but I will in the end.
You may also have noticed that there's a function that allows you to increase or decrease the size of the comments box. The function works in Internet Explorer but I'm afraid it doesn't work in Safari. However, if you have the Mozilla web browser, it will work in that. If you're interested, you can download it from the Mozilla site. Get there by clicking on the logo below.
I like it myself because, for one thing, it gives you a fantastic number of themes to choose from but, most importantly, it works with the comment form text box!
Finally, if you want to find out about the other functions and links on the site, just have a mess around. Click on a few things and see what happens! You can always get back to the home page by clicking the "Home" link near the top of the right hand navigation column. If you accidently navigate away from the site altogether, just click the "Back" button at the top left of your browser's page and you should return to this site.
